Customs clearance of Bileh Savar important for Iran-Azerbaijan economic ties

The 24-hour round-the-clock operation of customs at Bileh Savar checkpoint on the border between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan is important for economic ties between Tehran and Baku.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Javad Jahangirzadeh has emphasized that working on a 24-hour round-the-clock basis, the customs clearance at Bileh Savar on the border between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan has played a key role in boosting business and economic ties between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In the ceremony to officially inaugurate various construction projects in the field of road maintenance in Ardebil province, northwest of Iran, Javad Jahangirzadeh referred to the cultural contributions of the people of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He said Ardebil province plays a key role in developing economic relations between Tehran and Baku.

Iran's ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan added: "Considering the special capacities of Ardebil province in tourism, the development of health tourism activities is underlined by the two countries."

Jahangirzadeh reiterated: The creation of the Ardebil-ParsAbad railway line has led to the development of relations between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, including in the tourism sector.
