Iranian Interior Minister said that special customs controlling systems would be activated soon to stop smuggling of goods into the country.

Iran PressIran News:  Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli added the best way to prevent contraband and to halt smuggling of goods is to use certain Customs Controlling Systems to fight smuggling and contraband.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency on the sideline of 'fighting smuggling of goods and foreign currency' meeting in Tehran on Saturday, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said: "If we want to control the supplies and distribution of goods in an organized, orderly and appropriate manner to stop smuggling and contraband, then the best option is to make operational a Customs Controlling Systems -- something which has taken rather a long time to make operational."

Iranian Interior Minister expressed hope that with the special attention given to this issue by Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, and First Vice President, Jahangiri, a Customs Controlling System would become operational in the near future.105/211/ 205
