Iran's industry, mines and trade minister emphasized that there are no limitations for support of Iranian manufactured goods and products.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's industry, mines and trade minister, Reza Rahmani speaking at the opening ceremony of a steel-production factory in Tabriz, said: "If industry feels that existing laws are inadequate, or laws do not support domestic manufacturing, the government is ready to step in and solve the problems."  

Iran's industry, mines and trade minister, added: "Today our laws are well-suited for manufacturing and production, and these laws can be further fine-tuned and amended to provide even more support for the manufacturing sector, if industry feels this is appropriate," Iran Press reported.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Rahmani said there is plenty of legislation and laws supporting domestic manufacturing, but most important of all, is the comments and guidelines of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, for maintenance and support of domestic manufacturing industry, and support of Iranian-manufactured products.

On Saturday, Iran's industry, mines and trade minister, Reza Rahmani, officially inaugurated the opening of the first phase of a large steel-production facility, the 'Zowb Navard Tavana Ram' factory, near Tabriz.

The steel-production unit is expected to produce 240000 tonnes of high-quality steel per year, at the end of the first phase of development.  This figure will increase to 280000 tonnes of steel per year, at the end of the fourth development phase.

The facility was set up with an initial investment of one-and-a-half million Dollars plus 240 billion Rials, and created jobs for 70 people directly, as well as 100 jobs indirectly for people working in associated and peripheral industries.
