Director General of the Department of International Peace and Security of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that US as the biggest user of WMDs is the only reason for member states of OPCW failure to reach a consensus on the final document.

Iran Press/Iran news: Director General of the Department of International Peace and Security of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Reza Najafi, said: "the US, as the biggest user of the weapons of mass destruction and chemical weapons, also supporter to other users of WMD, specially the former dictatorial regime in Iraq under Saddam , and other terrorist groups across the world, has played an adverse role, impeding member states of OPCW from reaching an agreement, and is not fit to pass judgement on the measures of other member states."

Member nations of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) have failed to agree on a final document at the Fourth Review Conference that was held in the Hague, Netherlands, from 21 to 30 November, Iran Press News Agency reported.
