Iran's president Hassan Rouhani urged immediate addressing of issues in quake-stricken areas.

Iran Press/Iran news: During a phone conversation with Houshang Bazvand, the governor of the western Kermanshah Province, President Rouhani, emphasized planning for temporary settlements in quake-hit areas and addressing relevant issues.

Rouhani praised the quake-stricken people for their patience, ensuring them the officials will immediately solve any resultant problems, Iran press reported.

At least 700 people were injured in a 6.4 magnitude earthquake that struck Sar Pol-e Zahab in western province of Kermanshah late on Sunday.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Javad Azari-Jahromi said on Sunday that despite power cut in certain quake-hit areas, telecommunications situation was normal due to the efforts taken in this respect.

23 operational teams were dispatched to the affected areas after a 6.4-magnitude quake hit the western province of Kermanshah.

On November 12, 2017, a fatal 7.3-measuring earthquake hit the provincial city of Salas Babajani killing 620 people and injuring about 12,000 others. 105
