Referring to the murder of Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, Iranian MP Nasrollah Pejman Far has said, it is not the first time that a critic of the dictatorial regime in Riyadh has been silenced.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency, Nasrollah Pejman-Far said the current atmosphere in Saudi Arabia is very stifling, and anyone who expresses an opinion against the ruling dictatorial regime will be very harshly treated by Saudi police and security forces.

In recent years, many dissidents and opponents of the Saudi regime have been killed.

Pejman-Far said many Saudi citizens are afraid to express their opinions or choose not to comment on the internal affairs of their country and the atmosphere inside the country is intimidating and stifling.

Pejman-Far also said, the Saudi people do not have the right to comment and the government does not tolerate any criticisms.

He added, murder case of Jamal Khashoggi is completely organized and  Saudi Arabia has been planning it for a long time.

Iranian MP also said, freedom of expression in Saudi Arabia has no meaning and this country has a long history of human rights abuses.

He said, the world should to react seriously to Saudi behavior and ban this country from attending international assemblies.
