Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi in a statement on Wednesday described the Arab League's four-member committee's allegations as 'totally baseless' arguing that two key members of the committee 'have been supporting notorious terrorist groups for years, and have brought death and destruction to Yemen'.

Iran/ According to an Iran Press report, the foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi  said the anti-Iranian statement by four-member committee is really an attempt to divert world public opinion from the fact that members of this committee have supported terrorism for years, and two key members in particular, have brought death, destruction and misery to Yemen, causing a human catastrophe in that country.

Ghasemi went on to reject all the anti-Iran claims and allegations by the Arab League four-member committee, and pointed to the fact that the statement made by the committee was released on 11 September, which is ironic since three committee members had a significant role in the  11 September 2001 terror attacks.
