Iran’s Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh has blamed US President Donald Trump for a recent spike in oil prices.

Speaking ahead of a key OPEC meeting,Iran’s Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh has said that the organization should refrain from politicizing the oil market.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries meets on Friday to decide output policy.

Iran said on Tuesday OPEC was unlikely to reach a deal.

Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh on Wednesday said that OPEC members that had overdelivered on cuts in recent months should comply with agreed quotas.

Iran says Venezuela and Iraq will join it in blocking a proposal to increase oil production that’s backed by Saudi Arabia and Russia.

Moscow and Riyadh have recently reached an agreement on cooperation in oil market.
