The Iranian President will visit Switzerland and Austria in the next three weeks, signing a host of economic, commercial and cultural agreements with the two countries.

The Iranian president will head a high-ranking political and economic delegation, and will visit Switzerland and Austria at the official invitation of the presidents of those countries.

Speaking on Monday, the head of the communications and press office of the presidency, Parviz Esmaili, confirmed that in his visit to Bern , President Rouhani will meet with his Swiss counterpart, he will also meet with prominent Iranians living in Switzerland,  and will sign a number of cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding on a range of political, economic, and cultural subjects.

President Rouhani will then leave Bern for Vienna,  where he will meet the Austrian president and chancellor.  During his visit to Vienna, president Rouhani will be meeting members of the Iranian community in Austria, as well as signing several cooperation agreements on a number of subjects.

In further remarks the head of the Press Office of the president, Parviz Esmaili said a number of leading businessmen and industrialists from the private sector, as well as ministers and economists will accompany president Rouhani on his trip to Bern and Vienna.
