Iran Press/Middle East: Speaking on the sidelines of a scientific summit of Sunni caravans in Mecca, the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution for Hajj affairs, Abolhasan Navab noted that Muslims from different countries and groups have welcomed their Shi'a brothers and sisters into mosques this year and their interaction was amicable and intimate.
Sunni Muslims who attend Mecca mosques for congregational prayer does not discriminate between themselves and the Shi'as but they treat them like other Muslims, Iran Press reported.
A gathering titled 'Hajj -Self-improvement, Religious Brotherhood, Islamic Civilization' was held in Mecca on Saturday evening with the participation of dozens of Sunni and Shi'a scholars and university professors from the Iranian Hajj convoys.
