Middle East: The Basij commander of Iranian businessmen and merchants Majid Tholoei in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency on Tuesday said: "We expect international organizations, such as United Nations, to hear the voice of the innocent people of Yemen, and to indicate that they hear the message of these protests -- protests all over the world in support of the Yemeni people."

In further comments Majid Tholoei said: "Western media often report small insignificant events, both at home as well as abroad, but why do they not show the bombing and murder of innocent Yemenis on a daily basis by US and its ally, Saudi Arabia? It is very clear that US human rights is completely different to real human rights. So we are here as a humanitarian duty to show our solidarity with the innocent Yemeni people."

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been launching deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Nearly 14,000 Yemenis, including 5,000 women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign. 103
