Iran Press/Iran News: Rabiei said: "We want all sanctions to be lifted. We want to be able to sell our oil freely, and we want normal trade and business ties with other countries. We do not oppose other countries joining the negotiations between Iran and major world powers if all sanctions against Tehran are lifted.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting on Wednesday he added: "Japan's name has been mentioned and we do not oppose Japan or other countries joining future negotiations," Iran Press reported.
Asked about government efforts to combat money laundering, Ali Rabiei said the government is fully committed to combating money laundering and various working groups are currently examining this issue. He said government efforts to promote transparency will also have an effect on money laundering.
Asked about the Turkish military incursion into northern Syria, Rabiei said: "We understand Turkey's worry about the security of its southern border, but there is no military solution to this issue. The correct way to proceed is for Turkey to continue with the Astana peace process and try to resolve its differences and disputes with Syria through talks and negotiations. Military incursions do not help."
Rabiei also said the Syrian army should control the areas of the country which are close to the border with Turkey. He said Iran is also worried about the deaths of innocent Kurdish civilians in northern Syria, and the damage caused by Turkey's military incursion. 101/211
