Iran Press/ Iran News: Representative of the Supreme Leader and Head of the Army Political Organization, Hojjat al-Eslam Abbas Mohammadi, delivered a speech before the Friday prayers in Tehran on the anniversary of the formation of the military political ideology organization.
He said: "Today, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran is a completely spiritual, spiritually-oriented army and one of the honors of the Islamic Republic," Iran Press reported.
"The military is actively involved in producing and institutionalizing security across borders and elsewhere in the country, and the army, along with the other armed forces, the IRGC, the Naja, and the Ministry of Defence have created a completely safe state," he added.
He referred to active military participation in the Arbaeen Trek and noted: "Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran serves 20000 pilgrim per day."
