Iran Press/Iran news: Chairman of the Expediency Council, Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli-Larijani in a meeting with the Minister for International Affairs of the Communist Party of China Song Tao on Monday called the nations of China and Iran's resistance against the US policy of avarice and dominance as the integrated approach, while welcoming the Chinese delegation.
Amoli-Larijani welcomed the Chinese delegation to Iran expressing satisfaction about the visit. He said the two countries' ties have entered a new phase after the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei submitted a message to the Chinese leader, via the speaker of Iran's Majlis, Ali Larijani.
According to an Iran Press report, Amoli-Larijani hoped that given their numerous commonalities in the fields of culture, civilisation, economy, and politics, Iran and China will play a crucial role in the international scene.
"We consider your visit to Tehran as helping to promote strategic cooperation," he said.
Today, strong China and resistant Iran can assume a role against US unilateralism, Amoli-Larijani said, noting that the Americans are nurturing the ambition of dominating the world and create tension by sending troops to all across the world.
Iran's top official also highlighted that Iran has never sought and will never seek to create tension, but it will defend itself wholeheartedly in case of any aggression.

"China has been withstanding the US with its independence and capabilities and this is appreciable to see that other countries also can stand against US avarice," he said.
Iran's top official also emphasized that Iran will pass through the current challenges by depending on people and Iranians capabilities. He also expressed hope that through Chine's support the best reaction would form toward the US as fast and decisive as possible.
Amoli-Larijani continued that the depth of the civilization regarding two countries is not an issue shaken through the foreign pressure.
The US is trying to impose its values upon the world and the American claims about human rights against Iran and China fall within the same category, Amoli-Larijani concluded.
"Today we faced with the cruelest US sanctions and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been standing against the US bullying for about 40 years," Stressed Chairman of the Expediency Council.
