Mashhad (IP) - On the occasion of the anniversary of the Goharshad Mosque uprising, 3200 related documents were unveiled in Mashhad, northeast of Iran.

Iran Press/ Iran news: On the occasion of the anniversary of the Goharshad Mosque uprising, 3200 historical documents were unveiled in the Quran museum of the Astan Quds Razavi in Mashhad, northeast of Iran, reported Iran press.

In Mashhad uprising against the banning of Islamic hijab in 1939, more than 1700 people were killed.

In the ceremony, the book of documents of the Goharshad Mosque uprising was also unveiled.

The document center of Astan Quds Razavi included 14 million documents on different issues. The oldest of which dates back to at least 900 years ago.
