Sunday, July 14, 2019, is the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (PBUH), who is the eighth Imam of Shiites and a progeny of the Holy Prophet, and the eighth infallible successor to Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny), Iran Press reported.

At the age of 35, he became the leader of the Islamic Ummah. His life was contemporary to the Abbasid reign and therefore, he suffered greatly at the hands of Abbasid tyrants. Finally, he was martyred by Ma’moon (the Abbasid Caliph) at the age of 55.
