Hormozgan (IP) - Iran's Minister of Economy and Finance said the country has successfully "navigated its way through the sanctions" with the cooperation of the private sector.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance (MEAF) Farhad Dejpasand made the remarks in Shahid Rajaee port near Bandar Abbas city in Hormozgan Province, in southern Iran on Friday.

Dejpasand also said: “Despite all the enemy’s efforts in order to halt the import of goods into Iran, especially essential goods, we are currently in a good position and there are no shortages."

“Now, 10 million tonnes of goods are available in Iran’s customs,” added the Iranian minister.

Earlier, Dejpasand had said that his ministry would use all its available resources and do everything it can to spur economy growth and minimise concerns of economic activists. 101/211/214
