Vice-President for Science and Technology said that the Asia-Pacific region's cooperation in the field of science and technology is the only way to prevent the scientific monopoly of some powers in the world.

Iran Press/Iran news: "Governments should adopt diverse social and environmental goals at the same time and also set up their own plans to strengthen the technology ecosystem," said the Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari on Tuesday at the first Asia Pacific Innovation Forum (APIF) in Tehran.

According to an Iran Press report, Sattari added that startups as new and influential actors in the pervasiveness of innovation and finding innovative ways of using social capacities to meet existing needs, require networking, as well as synergy with economic, social institutions and it's the duty of governments to support them in this regard.

Establishing new startups networks in Asia Pacific region is absolutely essential since new start-up companies need to network and interact with one another, in order to create new paths of cooperation between countries in the region, to come up with innovation, and finding new solutions and meet social needs.
