Iran's AEOI chief is reportedly going to review the latest situation of Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities.

Iran Press/Iran news: Spokesperson for the Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Ali Najafi Khoshroudi revealed that Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Chief Ali-Akbar Salehi will mull over the latest situation of Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities on April 7 concurrent with April 9 the anniversary of Iran’s Nuclear Technology, reported Mehr news agency.

He made the remarks on Saturday and said: “The first session of the Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission in the current year (started March 21, 2019) will be held in the presence of Ali-Akbar Salehi Chief of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).” In this meeting, the latest situation of peaceful nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be reviewed thoroughly.

IAEA chief reaffirms Iran’s compliance with nuclear deal commitments

Meanwhile, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reaffirmed Iran's compliance with its nuclear-related commitments under the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). “I don’t see activities that are contrary to the Iran nuclear agreement.", Yukiya Amano said in an interview with CBS on Wednesday. All of the other parties to the agreement hammered out by former US President Barack Obama; Iran, Russia, China, France, Germany, Britain, and the European Union, are still trying to stick to the deal.

Under the 2015 deal, Iran agreed to limit its nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. The IAEA has said consistently since the agreement was reached that Iran continues to abide by it, and he confirmed on Tuesday to CBS News that the agency’s “inspectors have had access to all the sites and locations in Iran which they needed to visit.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Amano stressed that in his regular reports to the board, he had stated that “Iran is implementing those commitments.”

“Since January 2016, the agency [IAEA] has been verifying and monitoring Iran’s implementation of its nuclear-related commitments under the JCPOA,” he added. Amano further noted that IAEA inspectors have full access to all locations required to verify the deal’s implementation.

U.S. withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal

Earlier on May 8, 2018, U.S. President Donald Trump announced America's withdrawal from the nuclear deal, and re-imposition of the highest level of sanctions and other economic penalties on Iran.

The Israeli regime, along with Saudi Arabia, actually welcomed the US move. Saudi Arabia backed Trump's decision to withdraw from the deal, and to re-impose economic sanctions on Tehran.

Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, also welcomed Trump's decision, to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal.
