Mashhad - (IP) - The first international religious education conference in Abrahamic religions kicked off on Monday 3rd March and will continue to 5th March at the Islamic Studies Foundation in northeastern city of Mashhad.

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at the conference, the Head of Iranian Islamic Seminary Ayatollah Arafi said that Abrahamic religions' followers have common humanitarian principles and characteristics and we are willing to present our experiences in the field of dialogue among religions to others.

From 3.8 Billion people follower of Abrahamic religions, 2.2 Billion are Christians and 1.6 Billion are Muslims, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi added according to Iran Press.

Ayatollah Arafi said: "Islamic Republic of Iran has good experiences in the field of dialogue among religions and we are willing to present our experiences to others."

More than 60 religious and scientific figures from Malaysia, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Afghanistan are participated in the conference. 101/205/213
