The acting head of Chabahar district in Sistan-Balouchestan Province, Rahmdel Bameri, has said two persons were martyred, and 33 others were injured in Thursday morning's terror attack, which included eight women and three children.

Iran news: According to an Iran Press report from the port city of Chabahar, a big loud explosion in the city at about 10 am on Thursday morning disturbed the residents.

Rahmdel Bameri, confirmed in an interview with IRINN, Iranian television (channel 6) that all those who were injured, 33 people, have been taken to local hospitals in Chabahar. Most of those injured suffered minor injuries. 

Also, the top commander of IRGC ground forces, Mohammad Pakpour, has said: "Unfortunately two persons were martyred and a number of people were injured near the entrance to the police station."

According to local Chabahar municipality official, Rahmdel Bameri, conditions in Chabahar are 'normal' and security forces are investigating the incident.

Currently, no individual or group has accepted responsibility for this terror attack.
