Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah movement, Sheikh Naeem Qassem, said, thanks to the guidance and leadership of the Leader of the Islamic revolution, US sanctions have been ineffective against Iran.

Middle East: Describing the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman as 'the triangle of evil', Qassem said Trump, tried to impose sanctions on Iran, but eventually retreated ahead of the deadline, and with Iranian people following the wise leadership and guidelines of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamene,  the sanctions have not worked.

He added: "Trump's image has been damaged somewhat."

Sheikh Naeem Qassem added: "Virtually everywhere you look, in all the crises and problems of the world, you can see the hallmarks of the triangle of evil, either all three, Netanyahu, Trump and Bin Salman, or at least one of the three with the support of the other two, plays a leading role."

Sheikh Qassem elaborated by saying: "Bin Salman lost in Yemen. He failed to capture Al- Hudaydah because of the resistance of the Yemeni people. He is killing innocent Yemenis, and caused great suffering and malnutrition of 12 million people."

Commenting on Netanyahu, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General said his image was damaged due to his inability to face the Palestinian people in Gaza, and was forced to withdraw and accept a ceasefire.

Speaking about the recent developments in Gaza, Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah movement said the Palestinians of Gaza succeeded in confronting Israel, and Palestinian resistance succeeded in thwarting the invasion and targeting Israel itself, changing the power balance, and showing the world that Israel has been defeated in this war, both politically and militarily.

Sheikh Qassem pointed out that resignation of Israeli war minister Avigdor Lieberman on November 14 is the best indication of the success of resistance forces in front of the occupiers of Israel, and emphasized that what happened in Gaza was the best sign that if we are stand firm beside the resistance forces, we will emerge victorious and achieve our rights.

Turning to some Persian Gulf states who have normalised their relations with the Zionist regime, Qassem said: "they are not helping the Palestinians and their cause. They want to maintain their strength with money and oil. But if they think they are making their own future, they are fooling themselves, and they are disillusioned."
