The Vice President in charge of science and technology, Sourena Sattari, has emphasized that Iran is ranked fourth in the world in terms of published research articles in nanotechnology and nano-science.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Saturday, the vice president in charge of science and technology, Sourena Sattari, has emphasized that the Nano-Economy must take shape in Iran, and it must be felt in the everyday lives of ordinary people. He said we have excellent position as far as producing nano-science and nanotechnology is concerned. 

The Vice President for science and technology added: "Nano companies are the main assets of Iran, they are the driving engine in this field,  and another great asset is the "Network of International Interaction" which is up and running with the assistance of foreign experts." 

Sourena Sattari added: "Also foreign investors who are now investing in Iran's hi-tech nano-businesses.  This is what we are really after as part of a knowledge-based economy."
