Tehran(IP) - The spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday that Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is scheduled to visit China.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Foreign Minister is going to leave for China on Friday, October 9th, to meet Wang Yi, his Chinese counterpart and the member of the State Council.

Iran's diplomat noted that the exchange of views on international and regional developments and the expansion of bilateral relations would be on the agenda, adding that the two countries agree on important areas such as countering unilateralism and US intervention in the internal affairs of countries.

Earlier, some media outlets quoted Chinese Ambassador to Iran Chang Hua as saying that Zarif would be in Beijing on October 9 and 10 at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Wang Y.

Iran and China have drafted a 25-year plan for comprehensive partnership.

Once signed and sealed, the deal will bring 400 billion dollars cash to Iran, $280bn for its energy sector, and $120bn for manufacturing and transport infrastructure.
