Iraq military blames terrorist groups on Erbil rocket attack

Iraq’s military blamed a “terrorist group” for launching a Wednesday rocket attack on Erbil,

Iran PressMiddle East: The attack was launched from the back of a vehicle in the northern Nineveh province, the military said in a statement, saying that the local commander responsible for securing the launch area has been suspended pending an investigation.

“Tonight on Wednesday a terrorist group targeted Erbil with a number of rockets,” the military said.

The US embassy in Baghdad and US bases in Iraq have been targeted by rockets several times in recent months.

Many Iraqi people and groups demand the withdrawal of American terrorist forces from Iraq, and the Iraqi parliament has approved a plan for the withdrawal of these forces. 207
