Kermanshah (IP) - Iran's Red Crescent Society opened several projects in Kermanshah province, western Iran, in the presence of the head of the society.

Iran PressIran News: Visiting the Red Crescent Society's specialized training center on Tuesday, Karim Hemmati inaugurated 68 Red Crescent houses as well as a rehabilitation center in the province.

In the opening ceremony, Hemmati said 5,000 Red Crescent houses will be opened throughout Iran, including 318 ones in Kermanshah, until the end of the current Iranian year (starting on March 21).

Due to the fact that Kermanshah province is one of the most accident-prone provinces in the country, the opening of Red Crescent houses will speed up the relief operation, he noted.
