Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press international news agency on the definition of tourism within the framework of the Iran-China 25-year-old Strategic Cooperation Document Ali Asghar Mounesan said that one of the most important points of the cooperation document between Iran and China is paying attention to the tourism sector.
Ali Asghar Mounesan noted that the issue of tourism is one of the important axes of Iran's cooperation with the target countries and China, with 150 million tourists per year is one of them.
"Iran's share of China's tourism market should be taken into account, and given the good relations that exist between the two countries, in the 25-year-old document of strategic cooperation between Iran and China, one of the most important parts is paying attention to tourism", outlined the minister of cultural heritage, handicrafts, and tourism.
Before announcing the motto of this year's World Tourism Day which is "Tourism and Rural Development", the issue of rural tourism in Iran was a priority, Mounesan stressed adding that villages are one of the cultural, historical, and natural capacities and centers of Iran.
Fortunately, good measures have been taken in the field of tourism and rural development, and agritourism is a new sector in the tourism field, which is based on rural capacities, Ali Asghar Mounesan Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism stated.
