Parliament open session kicks off

Tehran (IP): Iranian parliament (Majlis) open session kicked off this morning, (Tuesday) after 3 hours of closed session.

Iran PressIran News: The closed session of the Iranian parliament (Majlis) was held this morning, chaired by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. 

During the closed session which lasted more than 3 hours, the issues of amending the internal regulations of the parliament were discussed.

After the closed session, the Spokesman of the Presiding Board of the Parliament Mohammad Hossein Farhangi said, "Leaving the current conditions of the parliament and making changes in various dimensions were examined by the heads of the commissions and the research center of the parliament."

"There are going to be changes in the structure of the parliament and the way issues being handled and its priorities so that we can make more tangible decisions." 

After the closed session, the open session kicked off with the presence of 222 MPs.
