Iran Press/Iran News: Saleh Hendi, Director of Exploration Department of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said that although we had some foreign contractors 2 or 3 years ago, there are no foreign contractors right now, and Iranian experts are able to do all the process.
Referring to the programs till the end of this current Iranian year (starting on March 21), Hendi said that in seismic and non-seismic sections, tenders will be held.
6 drilling dig will increase to 8 before the end of this year, he concluded.
According to Wood Mackenzie institute, Iran tops the world in oil exploration volume by exploring 4,973 Billion barrels in 2019.
