Iranian students participate in Chinese aerospace industry Webinar

Tehran (IP) - A webinar on the development of the Chinese aerospace industry was held with Iranian students living in Beijing and researchers at Beihang Aerospace University in Beijing as participants.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Participants in the China Aerospace Industry Development Webinar, which was welcomed by a large number of researchers and aerospace industry enthusiasts from around the world on Monday, reviewed and analyzed the latest developments and developments in the Chinese aerospace industry.

In this webinar, the capabilities of the aviation industry, the achievements in the field of the space industry, and the Chinese navigation system 'BeiDou' were examined with the presence of Iranian researchers residing in Beijing.

'Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh', the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beijing, also wrote in a tweet: "With the launch of the 'BeiDou' satellite, the global positioning and navigation coverage of this Chinese company was completed and marked the end of the US GPS monopoly."

Keshavarzadeh pointed out that there is a lot of potentials in aerospace cooperation with China, noting that elite Iranian aerospace students in China can serve as a bridge between the two countries.

There are currently more than 2,000 Iranian students studying in China, some of whom are studying aerospace.

China's last satellite navigation system, BeiDou, was launched on June 23; after about eight days of flight, the satellite successfully entered its final orbit, which is located at a distance of 36,000 kilometers above the earth's surface.  104/207
