Iran's minister of health and medical education, Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi, signed a memorandum of medical cooperation in a meeting with Indonesian minister of health, Nina Nila Moeloek on Thursday.

Asia/ According to Iran Press report, travelling to Kazakhstan to participate in the 40th anniversary of the Almaty Statement on Public Health Promotion, Ghazizadeh Hashemi, minister of health and medical education met with his Indonesian counterpart, Nila Moeloek.  Senior officials of both countries then reviewed cooperation agreements already signed and cooperation facilities in the field of medical services.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed by the two ministers of health. The document emphasised cooperation in healthcare services, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, research and development, prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, traditional medicine, as well as emergencies and disaster management.
