The Joint Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces has said the Iranian Armed Forces' response to any threat against the stability and security of the country and its borders will be decisive and crushing.

Iran Press/Iran news: Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri made the remark on the sidelines of a visit to northeastern borders of Iran on Wednesday morning.

He paid a visit to the religious figures and top clergymen, both Shia and Sunni, as well as tribal elders and border guards and soldiers who are protecting the northeastern border - including the Army, Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Police and Basij volunteer forces - in the city of Taibad, Khorasan Razavi Province, Northeastern Iran, Iran Press reported.

“Today, our country with the support of the people alongside the religious figures of Shia and Sunni and also brave commanders and soldiers of the Armed Forces will neutralize all the enemies’ schemes against the sustainable security of the country," the Joint Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces said.
