Iran Press/Iran news: Commander of the Iranian Navy hailed a recent move by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) to shoot down intruding US spy drone as a “crushing response” and said Iran's military reaction to any violation of can be repeated anytime.

" The enemy dispatched its most sophisticated, smartest and most complicated surveillance aircraft to the banned area, and everyone saw the shooting down of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV),” Rear Admiral Khanzadi said in southern province of Fars on Monday. according to Tasnim report.

" We confidently say that this crushing response to the intrusion can be repeated ..., and the enemy is aware of this," the commander added.

Relying on the revolutionary youths of the Islamic Republic, the country has reached a point where it can powerfully stand on its own feet, establish regional security, and cut the enemy's hands from the region, Rear Admiral Khanzadi said.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Coprs (IRGC) announced that its Aerospace Forces on Thursday had shot down a US Navy RQ-4A global Hawk drone moments after it entered Iranian airspace in the Persian Gulf region to gather intelligence, using an indigenous Khordad 3 surface-to-air missile system. 213/205
