Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and his Paraguayan and Slovenian counterparts Luis Castiglioni and Miro Cerar respectively reviewed promotion of bilateral ties.

Iran Press/ America: The meetings were held on the sideline of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) annual meeting in New York, reported IRNA.

Both sides underlined the existing political determination to develop bilateral relations and ways for reinforcing ties.
 

Zarif together with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani arrived in New York on Sunday to attend the UNGA meeting. He also participated in the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit and held talks with the 4+1 Group foreign ministers.

Zarif and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini in their first joint statement after the US withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal underlined preserving the agreement and meeting Iran's economic interests.

Further more, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Romanian counterpart Teodor Mele?canu discussed JCPOA and economic cooperation.
